The 2019 Little Falls co-ed summer football camp kicked off this morning with players and the coaches from the high school providing instruction to the willing students.
Coach Bryan Shepardson said “We wanted to promote football first and foremost, but we were also hoping to get the kids out and active during the summer. Any time you can find a way to get out and play football, enjoy the weather, and bring the kids together in a way to have the younger kids interact with the varsity kids, it’s a win-win.”
The coach hopes that this first-year camp becomes a thing each year. “We’re excited to get this started. I did a basketball one a couple of weeks ago and it went very well, so I’m hoping the football one does as well. It’s a good start,” he said.
