The girls varsity basketball team started out slowly, but was ahead 7-5 at the end of the first quarter. From that point on, they never looked back, winning handily 48-35 on Senior Farewell night.

According to Coach Pam Munger “West Canada came out with really great defense and our shots just weren’t falling in that first quarter. We finally started to warm up when we had a spark from Nicole. She also had a lot of fouls and pulling her out makes a difference in our play. She really kind of keeps us going.”

“I felt like our defense was effective, but then again, their defense was effective. If you look at the game, it was a low scoring game. We kinda busted out in the third quarter. A good one to have and good pressure to have prior to sectionals,” said the Coach.

Olivia Langdon had 12 points, Geena Morotti and Olivia Lindsay each had 10. Little Falls is 8-0 in league play and 17-2 overall. They move on to sectionals, Friday night, February 15th at 6:00 pm facing off against Sandy Creek at home.
