Applications are now available for a Summer Youth Employment Program funded through the New York State Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).
This six-week program provides paid summer employment to eligible participants between the ages of 14 – 20.
Herkimer County will also run a 200-hour College Corps Internship Program for those county residents who will be entering their junior or senior year of college in the fall of 2023.

The Herkimer County, Employment & Training Administration, is currently issuing a “Request for Proposals” for a 2023 Summer Youth Employment Program to be funded under New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). Funds provided under this program are targeted for TANF-eligible youth aged 14-20.
