Art Walk 2022 on June 16, 2022, promises to be bigger and better than before according to organizers with Think Local Little Falls. The event is part of their Third Thursday schedule of events and will run from 4 pm until 8 pm.

According to Elaine Cobb, event organizer, “Think Local is very excited to be hosting our Art Walk again after a two-year layoff. We’re going to have artist displays in the windows, music in the street, we have a magician doing two shows and interactive displays.”

The Opus Black Strings will be on stage in Sterzinar Park from 6 – 8 pm, kids art activity is at the library from 4 – 7:30 pm, Rock City Centre will host two featured artists, and there will be an artisan fair in Canal Place from 4 – 8 pm.

Cobb stated, “The Opus Black Strings trio plays classical music with a more contemporary flare. We’re also going to have some live painting demonstrations.”

“We have a lot going on, and of course, we’ll have our virtual art gallery to accompany all of this,” she stated.

There are several featured artists, including Donna Veeder, and Oscar Stivala, Dee Turner’s Work will be at Il Cafe, Edwin Falk will be at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, and Garlyn MaGinnis will be displaying her work on the 3rd floor of the Inn at Stone Mill.

The artwork is being hosted in partnership with the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
