“Herkimer County employees along with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Herkimer County and Herkimer County Soil and Water are taking collections for the Food Bank of Central New York” announced Vincent J. Bono, Chairman of the Herkimer County Legislature.
Chairman Bono added, “During this unprecedented financial time where individuals and families have seen their livelihood uprooted due to no fault of their own, it’s imperative that we work together to help our families in need.”
Chairman Bono also urges any residents of Herkimer County who may be so inclined to send a donation to the Food Bank of Central New York, 7066 Interstate Island Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209. Please make a note upon donating that your donation is designated for the Herkimer County Food Banks. The Food Bank of Central New York is affiliated and works with the eleven active food pantries within Herkimer County.
