By any measure, Christmas in Little Falls 2018 was a resounding success and the weather was almost perfect for the many events that were spread out throughout the City.
According to Laura Powers “Christmas in Little Falls is a special day where the city, businesses, residents and area organizations come together to deliver a signature event for all ages and all budgets. The holidays are such a magical time of year and it is important that we create a celebration that everyone can enjoy with their friends and families.”
Powers stated “I have had the pleasure of running the city streets as The Moose is Loose! The smiles and laughter are second to none, and the joy on children’s faces makes it all the better. “
Powers continued “Of course, the impact on local business is an essential part of the day. I visited with many local merchants, as well as the craft vendors who were set up for the day. They were all pleased with the number of visitors and spending that happened throughout the day. We are fortunate to have a number of unique businesses all offering something different, and it’s important to shine a light on them. Like all small businesses, they rely on local dollars and support to succeed and these events are designed to help.”
“With 11 years in the books, I know my family is looking forward to the next 11. The second Saturday in December is always certain to bring a very Merry Christmas in Little Falls,” stated Powers.
