Despite the cold and windy conditions, the skies were clear and people bundled up to venture out and experience the Third Thursday OctoberFest in Little Falls.

There were kids activities, a poker and Zombie run, special dinners and merchant specials throughout the city. According to organizer Jessica Kelly “We have a great crowd tonight, mostly families, as this is a really family oriented event. It involves lots of crafts, a mad science lab, face painting, games, and all kinds of fun stuff for kids.”

Up on Main Street, there was the poker run, which was a feature of the night for the second year in a row. Kelly stated “We have over fifty volunteers helping us with the event to make the night possible. There’s a core team that preps the event and then the day of, there are lots of people involved. There are twenty eight people alone up on Main Street for the Poker run.”

“There are lots of parents, teachers, and others out to help. It’s a great night to be out with your family,” said Kelly.
