The Dale Memorial Trust has awarded $550 to The Little Falls Public Library for a performance by singer-songwriter Jared Campbell. The performance will be held at the library on Friday, August 26th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Campbell has traveled the country for the past decade performing inspirational songs that support social and emotional well-being. He has shared the stage with such artists as Jason Mraz, Gavin Degraw, The Zac Brown Band, and Journey and has been cited by Billboard Magazine as one of the top independent musicians in the northeast.

His library performance is designed for children and youth and will, through humor and song, convey messages that focus on overcoming obstacles, anti-bullying, respect, leadership, and positive outlooks on life.

The performance is part of the culminating event of the Summer Reading Program, Oceans of Possibilities, which included, in addition to youth literacy and craft programs, classes provided by Connected Schools that supported children’s social and emotional well-being through classes on Being a Friend, Managing Feelings, and Coping with Fear.

The trustees and staff of the Little Falls Public Library thank the Dale Memorial Trust for their support in presenting the Jared Campbell performance.

Pre-registration, for planning purposes, is required of anyone who would like their child to participate. To register, contact the library at 315-823-1542 or stop in at 10 Waverly Place.
