The Little Falls Women’s Christian Association is preparing for the Women of Distinction breakfast to be held at the Travelodge Inn and Suites on May 16.

The event shines a light on women who have worked to improve the quality of life of life in the community. Six women will be selected to represent one of the following categories: business and industry, education, music and arts, health care, religion and volunteerism.

Nomination forms are available at various locations around the city, including Little Falls Hospital, Little Falls Public Library, Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, Benton Hall Academy, Little Fall High School, Holy Family Parish, First Presbyterian Church and the WCA. The form is also attached (below).

The deadline for submitting nominations is March 15.

After the deadline, a panel will review the nomination forms and select the honorees.

Send the completed form to WCA Women of Distinction, 534 Garden St., Little Falls NY 13365.

This year’s event will be dedicated to the late Dorothy Muhl, a long-standing board member who dedicated many years of service to the WCA.

The funds raised at the event go to support an annual scholarship given to a deserving female high school senior who plans to continue her education.
