Mrs. Delcia M. Urich, 86, of Bronner Road, Little Falls, NY, passed away on the early evening of May 19th, 2023, at her son and daughter in laws home.
Mrs. Urich was born in Fort Plain, NY, on December 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Raymond and Idella Seeley Leavenworth.
She was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 1955, and attended MVCC for their medical assistant degree. After graduation, she had worked for more than 45 years with numerous doctors at the Little Falls hospital.
She had lived almost her entire life in the local area, with a five-year period being spent in Texas.
She attended the Dolgeville Methodist Church, belonged to the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, and her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
On November 23, 1957, at the Dolgeville United Methodist Church, she married Fred “Fritz” Urich, Jr. He predeceased her in death on September 7, 2020.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased in death by her grandson, Sean E. Urich, in December 2015, and her brothers Roy and Raymond Leavenworth.
Survivors include her daughter Darlene Suits and Gerald L. Gruby; son Ronald E and Lisa Urich; Honorary son Scott Rockwell; brother Heman Benson; sister Janet M. Klock; grandsons Richard M and Danielle Suits, Nicholas D. Suits; great-grandchildren Rose and Lily, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins; “the girls” (Charlene & Shelly) and John, feline companion Kali, and Pumpkin.
The family invites friends and relatives to visitation on Tuesday 23rd, from 3:00 to 7:00 at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. A graveside funeral will take place on Wednesday 10:00 AM at Dibble-Tuttle Cemetery.
