It was a rainy weekend, but that’s never stopped the Violet Festival, and this year was no exception.

The Dolgeville Violet Festival is not just a one-time summer event but a year-round effort by the residents of Dolgeville.

The Violet Festival preserves the Village of Dolgeville’s historical aspects through innovative, artistic, and educational displays throughout the year. Emphasis is placed on the community’s rich horticultural history.

The Festival draws over 75 vendors, 80 organizations participating in the parade, and over 10,000 people to the Village during the three-day event.
