The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have announced the 9th player signing for the 2020 season.

Brad Camarda is a RHP from Division 1 Hofstra University. He his heading into his junior year at Hofstra where he is expected to be a big part of the pitching staff.

At Hofstra: 2019: Made two starts before suffering a season-ending injury…Was 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA…Won his first start at Incarnate Word on Feb. 16, allowing one run on four hits over six innings…Had six strikeouts in eight innings on the season…Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll selection…2018: Made 14 appearances with five starts…Was 2-2 with a 4.30 ERA in 29 1/3 innings of work…Recorded 28 strikeouts…Picked up wins at UMBC on March 11 and at Monmouth on March 27…Struck out a season-high six batters in three scoreless innings at Fordham on May 1…Went five innings and allowed three hits and an unearned run in his first career start at Lamar on Feb. 24…Was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in three Colonial Athletic Association appearances (one start)…Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll selection.
