I write to you in distress over the everchanging sight of our community as time changes. We as individuals have a duty to preserve this, however we often look to leaders for guidance. We often try to find this in those that represent us. However, those “leaders” in which we look to, I do not see guidance. My parents speak of a time when our economy was great, our community was strong, and most importantly, people were good to one another. We often see this in our local representatives, however, I have yet to see one who intrigues this idea of a leader in my community thus far in my lifetime, except for one. I have recently started following my local congressional race only to become filled with promise by a newly designated representative of my community. I support her because she has inspired me to do well and hope all those around me can aspire to do so as well. I believe she can restore my community to none other than the best. I believe we should vote for Elise Stefanik to allow her to instill this upon those around as it has been done to me. We need community and we need Elise.
Sincerely,
Lynn Wright
