The Dolgeville Forward C.A.T. Project is participating in The Staffworks Save A Life-Mohawk Valley Gives Campaign during the month of September. Every donation made to the group September 1-30 will be matched with a special event on September 20, the official date of Mohawk Valley Gives, where online giving can help the group earn additional cash prizes.
A Chinese Auction to benefit the Dolgeville Forward C.A.T. Project will be held on Saturday, September 16, at the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., and drawings begin at 2:00 p.m. All proceeds raised at the event will be matched by The Staffworks Fund Save A Life Campaign.
Check donations can be mailed during the entire month of September to Dolgeville Forward CAT Project, P.O. Box 71, Dolgeville, NY 13329, and online donations can be made September 13-30 by visiting the group’s Campaign page accessed with a link at the top of their Facebook page.
Founded in the Fall of 2018, the group has helped over 600 cats in the Dolgeville and surrounding area through a Trap-Neuter-Return program for outside cats, spay/neuter assistance for private companion cats, and rescue of kittens and abandoned friendly stray cats into loving homes.
