Class of 23 Memorial Food Drive

After school on Monday, May 22nd, the Little Falls High School Class of 2023 will be conducting a Memorial Food Drive throughout the city in memory of Joseph “Stash” Zawtocki (Vietnam), Clifton Avery, Walter Bobak, William Grogan, Thomas Ochar and Milan Mosny (Korea).
LFHS alumnus and Herkimer County Hunger Coalition founder RJ Lenarcic suggested the project. Class advisors Lisa Watson and Lauren Baylor discussed the offer with the Senior Class, and they accepted the challenge enthusiastically.
Lenarcic stated, “I couldn’t be more proud of the students and Advisors Baylor and Watson. Their efforts will augment the food supply of their local pantry while honoring the memories of six local heroes too often forgotten.”
Student participants and food donors will receive a special memento compliments of the Coalition.
