Library to host 9/11 exhibit on 20th anniversary
September 11 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
For those old enough to remember, September 11, 2001, changed the lives of countless numbers of people, especially those living in the United States of America. The horrific events of that day sent a ripple effect around the globe. Devastation, fear, and uncertainty prevailed in the days following. As the dust literally settled, many wandered aimlessly not even fathoming what had just happened. When thoughts were gathered together and the air cleared, Americans vowed to never forget.
Of the many things in the United States that have changed since that day, one thing remains; a list of names that draws the hearts and minds to the heroes of 9/11. Many gave their lives to save as many people as they could.
The Little Falls Public Library (located on Waverly Place in Little Falls) seeks to honor the fallen by having an exhibit for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The exhibit will be on display from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM in the library community room. It will include a timeline of events (a set of posters provided to the library by 9/11 Memorial and Museum, 911memorial.org), books and materials available for borrowing, as well as interactive aspects that will help the public honor and remember those lost on that day.
