Friday night football under the lights in Little  Falls lived up to everything it’s supposed to be with the Little Falls Mounties pulling out a last-minute win against Canastota 34-28.

Coach Bryan Shepardson stated, “I’m just so proud of my kids. To play against a really good Canastota team and to fall behind, make a few mistakes, and really play hard for 48 minutes – I’m just so happy for them to get that win at home against just a great ballclub.”

“That big play at the end with Brayton Landon on 4th down, making that. We ran the out play and he said he could get open and us executing that play on 4th down to take the lead was huge,” he said.

Shepardson said that this win makes him feel very positive about moving forward the rest of the season. “I’m really excited about it.”
