Gerald “Buzzy” Busczowski, age 78, of Dolgeville, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, New York.
He was born on July 14, 1945, in Syracuse, New York, and was the son of Frank and Amelia (Wasselewski) Busczowski.
Buzzy was a long-time, beloved resident of the Sullivan Street house, where he enjoyed spending time with his housemates and caregivers. He also loved relaxing in his recliner, going to concerts and local sporting events, playing with his sensory stim toys, and watching the birds. He will be deeply missed by everyone in his house.
He is survived by his best friend, William “Billy” A. Griffin, Jr., also of the home in Dolgeville, New York; his caregivers and housemates.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dolgeville, New York. He is being cared for by Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329.
