The Herkimer County Music Educators Association is pleased to announce the selection of over 250 students to the HCMEA Spring All–County Music Festival. The students will participate in one of three ensembles, Elementary Band, Jr. High Chorus, and High School Band. Each ensemble will rehearse with a guest conductor for two days, culminating with a final concert on Saturday, March 18. Poland Central School will host this year’s festival.

Greg Clark will direct the Elementary Band, Christine Clark the Jr. High Chorus, and Mark Case the High School Band.

The students selected for All–County will represent ten public schools in Herkimer County. “We are very proud of these students and their hard work,” said Emily Rozonkiewiecz, Music Educator for the Little Falls City School District and Vice President of H.C.M.E.A. “It is wonderful to see things getting closer and closer to normal. This will be the first time we have an elementary band at All County since 2019.”

The festival concert is Saturday, March 18, at 3:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door beginning at 2:00 PM on Saturday. Admission is $3.00. Poland CSD is located at 74 Cold Brook St., Poland, NY 13431.
