Little Falls, NY – Families and friends gathered together recently to enjoy a warm summer evening while focusing on celebrating community. Holy Family Parish hosted their annual community picnic on Wednesday, August 22 and offered an opportunity for folks to come together and socialize in scenic Rotary Park.
Little Falls resident, Laura Powers, explains, “Holy Family is a welcoming parish that strongly identifies with the immediate community it serves. Their doors and services are open to everyone and that is what makes this annual picnic so important – it is about the whole Little Falls community.” According to attendees, there was a great turnout with guests of all ages. Adults laughed and talked, and children had fun playing games outdoors, all while sharing a meal together as a community.
Providing opportunities for community members to get together, catch up and meet new people is an ongoing theme throughout many Little Falls organizations and events. The annual Holy Family Parish Community Picnic is certainly no exception!
