The Inspire Art & Music Festival, was held on Sunday, September 11th, and while the weather wasn’t as perfect as the day before, it didn’t stop people from coming out and attending the inaugural event.

Marrisa Perkins said that there was definitely something for everyone at the festival. “Our vendors covered all of the bases from visual art, painting, pottery, and live demonstrations, to jewelry. We had all kinds of things. The music choices covered all genres as well, so there was really something for everyone as far as music went.”

She said, “It has surpassed my hopes and dreams for our first event. We only hope that it grows and gets bigger. There were so many beautiful, creative, inspiring people here, and it’s only going to get bigger and better from here.”
