The Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office Welfare Fraud Unit, assisted by the Herkimer County Department of Social Services, recently arrested the following individual for various Welfare Fraud charges.
Andrew J. Hight, age 31 of Little Falls, NY, was arrested for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony, and Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree, a class E Miller fraudulently received in excess of $ 2,000 worth of benefits in which he was not entitled to receive over a period of 12 months.
Hight was processed on the charges and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Herkimer Court at a later date.
