On Friday, the Little Falls Public Library hosted a concert by Joe DeLorenzo, entitled Keep Your Sunny Side Up: a Reprise.

Last month, Mr. DeLorenzo performed a selection of classic American songs to a full house. Because of the overwhelming response, he came back this Friday for an encore performance.

If you missed either of his shows, you lost out on a piano and vocal combination of music that would raise your spirits.

According to Library Director Anne Nassar “He has been in a lot of local productions. His music choice is designed to be uplifting and his choices are from the American Songbook…songs from the greatest generation. He performed in January and it was so popular that he decided to come back.”

DeLorenzo stated “I chose mostly songs of the 1920-1930’s. I was looking for songs that make one feel that life is worth living, that encourage one to live with joy and determination, that help keep the spirit alive.”
