When was the last time you had your eyes examined? Do you feel you’re not seeing as clearly as you used to? Do you suffer from scratchy, burning, or watery eyes? Do you have a family history of eye diseases such as glaucoma or macular degeneration? Do you have systemic health diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure? How about autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or lupus?

Just because you feel you see well doesn’t mean you should neglect having a regular check-up with your eye doctor. Many diseases, systemic and ocular, can either slowly or suddenly affect your vision, and, unfortunately, many times that, vision loss is permanent.

January is National Eye Care Month. Start the year off right and safeguard your vision – schedule an eye exam today.
