On September 15th, the Little Falls Public Library will host a reception celebrating our current exhibit by artist John Milo Rose.

Born in Little Falls, Rose attended Broward Community College and Arizona State University. He then moved to San Diego and opened Milo’s Pizzeria, which is still in business 25 years later.

Rose began painting ten years ago, and, he says, “A new world opened for me.” His first painting (which consisted of 100,000 dots) sold. This initial success encouraged him to keep painting.

His art provides him with “pure joy” and relief from his OCD.

The show, which has no name, consists of several oversized pieces. It will be on display in the library’s Community Room throughout the month of September.

The reception will begin at noon. Guests will have the opportunity to view the show and meet the artist. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free of admission and open to the public.
