Little Falls, NY – This November, there will be a local election, and it is a particularly important one. All elections are important, but this one is especially critical given the variety of challenges that our city will face in the coming years. The ballot features twelve candidates running for eight seats on your Common Council. Voters in all four Wards will have three candidates to consider. The two candidates with the most votes will win a two-year term.

I invited all the candidates to appear in a special series on my podcast, “The Inside View.” Eleven of the twelve participated, with one candidate in Ward One declining. Voters deserve to hear directly from those who want to represent them. Using a straightforward approach, I wanted the interviews to cut through the noise, allowing candidates to speak for themselves on the matters that count. I designed the format to help residents make informed decisions without the spin of traditional debates or ads. The series covers a diverse range of perspectives on key issues facing Little Falls, from community development to public safety and economic growth.

My questions are intended to reveal the candidate’s knowledge of issues, deportment, communication skills, and vision. The episodes, released simultaneously today on YouTube and major podcast platforms, aim to level the playing field by posing the same set of questions to each contender, with interviews capped at 30 minutes for fairness and focus. The candidates did not receive the questions in advance.

Early voting kicks off on October 25th with Election Day on November 4th. I encourage voters to tune in now to compare platforms and priorities before voting. Whether you are watching the video version or listening on the go, these episodes provide an essential resource for anyone invested in the future of Little Falls.

Do not miss your chance to get “The Inside View” – and please, exercise your right to vote.
