The Little Falls Mounties fell to the West Canada Valley team in a 45-60 loss Friday night. The Mounties lead at the end of the first quarter, 12-8, but were down by 7 at the half. It was a deficit that they weren’t able to overcome.

According to Coach Bryan Shepardson “The kids played very hard. I thought we did a good job executing, but give credit to them, they had some big shots through some of our openings that we left and they did a good job. We hung for a long time, but they had some big shots when they needed to. They’re a good ball club.”

Joe Pugliese had 14 points, Mason Trumball had 11 and Eddie Rogers had 9. The Mounties are 1-6 in league play and 4-10 overall.

The team plays again today, January 26, 2019 at home at 1:30 pm against Canajoharie.
