Little Falls, NY – Flu season is right around the corner and Little Falls Hospital, part of the Bassett Healthcare Network, is making it easy to get your flu shot with a drive-thru service. It’s as easy as rolling down the car window and sticking out your arm.
The flu shot will be offered on October 14 in the hospital’s main parking lot from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. No cost with most insurance. Masks will be required.
A Care Station will ask you questions before administering the vaccination, to make sure that you are a suitable candidate for the vaccine. A Rest Station will be available after your flu shot to make sure you have no side effects. No appointment is necessary for patients 19 years and older.
Influenza (flu) is a potentially serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. So roll down your window, roll up your sleeve, and roll on down the road away from flu.
