Little Falls, NY – Little Falls Hospital (LFH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Powers as a new member of the LFH Board of Trustees. Her three-year term will begin on July 27, 2020.
Powers is a financial advisor for Strategic Financial Services, Inc. in Utica and has been with their team for 16-years. She assists individuals, families, and businesses by providing objective, unbiased financial advice. “My goal of being appointed as a board member of LFH, is to serve the organization with a duty of obedience, loyalty, and care,” says Powers.
“Laura’s lively exuberance combined with her community service within the region and her professional expertise will bring additional depth to our board and enhance LFH’s commitment to our mission to better serve our employees, patients and community,” said Michael Ogden, president of LFH.
In addition to working full-time, Powers is very active in the community. She is a board member for the Urban Renewal Agency of Little Falls, a member of the tourism committee for Little Falls, a member of Think Local Little Falls, and a member of the Little Falls Ad-Hoc DRI committee. She also lends social media management and promotional support to several other non-profits and events.
Powers resides in Little Falls with her husband, Matthew, and their twin boys.
