The Little Falls Public Library will host a series of community concerts, funded by the Central New York Community Arts Council, in Eastern Park on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

The series will feature a diverse offering of musical performances by area musicians ranging from cabaret style to Dixieland. It will provide an opportunity for community residents to renew their enjoyment of what was once an annual summer tradition, the Wednesday evening band concert.

Julia Yardley, library executive director, stated, “The library is very fortunate to be able to put on a concert series in Eastern Park, thanks to the Central New York Community Arts Council. We believe that this concert series will bring the community even closer together while promoting diversity in the arts. We are always looking for new ways to get the community engaged, and I think this is an excellent way to do so!”

Scheduled dates and performances are as follows:

  • July 17th Eddie Rose & Friends – “Movie Music Magic: A Cabaret Celebration of Cinema.” The rain location for the concert, should it be needed, is the Benton Hall Auditorium.
  • July 25th BarRoom Neon Project
  • July 31st Anthony LaBarbera
  • August 14th Dolgeville Community Band
  • August 28th Helen’s Dixilanders

All performances are free of charge and open to the public. This project is made possible through the CNY Arts Regrant program thanks to a New York Senate Initiative supported by the NYS Legislature, the Office of the Governor, and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts.
