Lucy Ann (Palkowski) Helmer, 69, of Loomis Street, Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica. At the time of her passing, she had the love and support of family at her side.

She was born on June 11, 1952, in Little Falls daughter of the late William and Annette (Diodati) Palkowski. Lucy graduated from Little Falls High School, “Class of 1970”. She furthered her education graduating from Herkimer County Community College with an Associates Degree. On August 2, 1975, Lucy was united in marriage with Kenneth P. Helmer at St. Joseph’s Church, Little Falls; a loving and devoted union of nearly 46 years. Being a faith-filled woman, Lucy was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish teaching faith formation to children for approximately 20 years, and was a member of Holy Family Rosarians.
