The Little Falls girl’s basketball team lost another close contest 55-52 in a clash with the Canajoharie Cougars.

The score was tied 28-28 at halftime, and with only seven seconds left on the clock, the girls were down by just one point, 53-52.

Coach Pam Munger said, “Execution in the last minutes of the game is not happening and it’s hurting us. I’ve got two and a half kids with the flu…two starters. No excuses, but when you don’t have your starters here, it makes a big difference.”

Kylie Kress had 14 points, Gabby Sylstra 10, and Shayna Straney had 8. The girls are 6-9 overall and 6-6 in CSC play. They play their next home game on the 28th at 7 pm against Adirondack.
