The girl’s varsity basketball team played another tough game with heart, falling to the Waterville Indians 57-53. The team was down by five at the half, and with only 18 seconds left in the game, they were within three points of tying things up, but couldn’t get a shot to drop.

Coach Pam Munger said, “We’re playing hard in come-back mode, and then not having enough to put it in. We should never get that far behind.”

Olivia Lindsay had 26 points, and Riley Dunn 12. The team drops to 6-8 on the year and 6-6 in CSC play. They are at home again on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 7 pm against Canajoharie.
