The boys varsity soccer team posted another win with a 4-3 victory over Herkimer Central High School when Carlin Straney scored on a penalty kick with only 29 seconds remaining in the game.
“What a fun game. I give all the credit in the world to Herkimer. This is a team that hasn’t won very many games this year and they battled,” stated Coach Blask. “They’ve got one of the best coaches, if not the best coach in the league. He does a great job. We beat them pretty good three weeks ago and they just have gotten better.”
The team moves to 5-1 in the division and 8-4 overall with the win. They next face Dolgeville in an away game on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
