The Little Falls Mounties girls basketball team put in another dominant performance in sectional play beating the Thousand Island Vikings 67-32 in a quarter final match.
The team led 25-8 in the first quarter, and was up 39-16 at the half. By the end of the third quarter, they had increased their lead to 64-20.
According to Coach Pam Munger “Again, it was a great first half. Playing hard, playing consistent, looking for each other, making good passes. I wanted more out of Langdon in the second half and I feel like I got it. We went to the inside, and obviously we had a height advantage, so that part was good.”
“It’s always great to see the kids have those outside shots taken and have them go in. That has been pretty key for us. We’ve had the time to shoot and I think that part is good,” said the Coach.
Olivia Langdon had 23 points, Olivia Lindsay 17, and Geena Morotti had 10. The girls move on to a semi-final match on Friday against Pulaski.
