The Little Falls Municipal Golf Course held its first annual glow in the dark golf tournament Friday night. The course was set up with tiki torches, glow sticks, LED pin attachments and special LED golf balls were used.
According to Clubhouse manager Nick Regan, “The balls are some really sweet technology. They stay lit for 10 minutes after activated and are reactivated every time they are struck again. They’re super bright and almost look like shooting stars or fireworks through the air.”
“Everyone decorated their carts with glow sticks and lights and it’s just something completely fun and unique. We had a bonfire and refreshments afterward and it was a just blast for everyone involved. This is the first time we’ve done an event like this and it’s definitely something that people will be begging for again year after year,” he stated.
