America and our communities in Central New York and the Southern Tier are worth fighting for.
I’m running for Congress to stand up for our communities against the wealthy and the powerful in Albany and Washington who undermine our people and our values.
I’ve lived here my whole life and live across the street from the house I grew up in.
I struggled – raising my son as a single mom and caring for my ailing parents while running our family business.
Times were tough but it was worth it. Today, my son serves our nation as a Captain in the US Marine Corps.
My agenda is simple: help America and Upstate New York rebuild and prosper. Our challenges have only strengthened our resolve to renew our communities.
To do that, we must guard our freedoms, support our police who protect our communities and ensure that our small businesses, seniors, farmers, and veterans get the help they have earned and deserve.
When you sent me to Congress, I got right to work for our community. I worked with President Trump to cut taxes for middle-class families and to cut the red-tape holding down our small businesses. We brought back Made-in-America jobs and built the strongest economy in 50 years.
I fought for our communities every single day. When the budget called for cuts to local community grants, I restored the funding and increased it by $10 million. I worked with President Trump to restore cuts to legal services for needy people. I secured the perimeter fence and more funding for Rome Lab, over $1 million for Binghamton’s airport, and countless grants for local fire departments, water systems, and flood victims.
I got critical public health care funding increased by $1.5 billion. I authored the bill that guarantees coverage for people with pre-existing conditions and received two awards for my health care work.
Last week, when nearly 600 workers at Remington Arms, the oldest factory in America, lost their jobs, severance, and healthcare, I immediately got the message to President Trump that these families need help. I did it because it was the right thing to do.
When I disagreed with President Trump, I didn’t vote to impeach him. I called him and asked him to help us. He was anxious to help.
But when it mattered most, my opponent broke his promises to our region again and again.
He said he would be independent but voted with Nancy Pelosi 90% of the time while pocketing $30,000 from both her and Adam Schiff. Then, my opponent voted three times to impeach our President after promising he wouldn’t. Pelosi’s wealthy left-wing donors gave him millions in return.
My opponent said he would hold Spectrum accountable but our rates have gone up 7 times as he took nearly $400,000 from Spectrum through the backdoor.
He said he supports our police but voted for the anti-police bill that strips them of critical equipment and allows trial lawyers like himself to profit and personally bankrupt cops with frivolous lawsuits. That’s why nearly every police organization is supporting my campaign. Law enforcement knows I will always ‘Back the Blue.’
While he breaks his promises, I will fight for America’s promise.
I will work with President Trump to rebuild our economy, defend our police, fight for our great American workers, small businesses, and job creators while protecting fellow military families during and after their service and making healthcare and childcare affordable and accessible for every family.
We must choose: do we want an America of unlimited freedom, opportunity, and prosperity for all or do we believe that America’s best days are behind us?
America is a very special place but we must fight for it. Because I know our nation is worth fighting for, this Marine mom is asking for your support to rebuild, restore, and renew the American Dream for you, your children, and grandchildren.
