Little Falls Hospital, a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, is pleased to announce that Amy Raffle is the recipient of the 2018 fourth quarter G.E.M. (Going the Extra Mile) award.

The G.E.M. award recognizes staff for going above and beyond their typical job duties and making a significant difference by improving the quality of health for patients and exceeding customer service standards for patients, clients, guests and co-workers.

“Amy is an example of what patient advocated should be,” said fellow co-workers. “We have often thought of Amy as a miracle worker. If there is a way to complete the exam, she will work her magic. She is one-of-a-kind and is truly an asset to this facility and to the radiology department.”

When presented with the G.E.M. award Raffle said, “I felt very humbled when I received the award. I really love working here and my time spent with my patients, so to be recognized for it makes it even more rewarding. Every day my fellow co-workers make me feel very lucky to work in such an awesome environment.”

Raffle, lead MRI technologist, has been in the medical imaging department at Little Falls Hospital since 2013. She lives in Ilion with her husband, Rob and three children Delaney, Katie and Luke.
