Town of German Flatts: Route 5S between the Frankfort exit and the Route 51 exit. Motorists will encounter lane shifts in both directions and a westbound shoulder closure for the installation of guide rail.
ONEIDA COUNTY
City of Utica: (D#263572) Route 5S between Cornelia Street and Broad Street. The roundabout at Route 5S/Oriskany Street and John is now opened to traffic. There will be daily lane closures on Broad Street east and westbound between Lower Genesee and First Streets due to construction and utility operations, all work will be based on road conditions. There will be daily lane closures on John Street northbound & southbound between Bleecker and Broad
Streets due to construction and utility operations. All work will be based on road conditions.
The contractor will be installing new lighting and working on installing new traffic signals, ped poles throughout the project. Minor traffic impacts anticipated. All work is based on road conditions.
City of Utica: (D#264047) North Genesee Street between Wurz Ave and Whitesboro/Broad Streets. On Monday, December 28, 2020, there will be lane closures east and westbound on Broad/Whitesboro Streets, the contractor working on traffic signals, and trail lighting.
MADISON COUNTY
Town of Lenox: (D#264135) Route 5 between Stroud Street and Hubbard Place. Motorists will encounter lane shifts and/or closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to the installation of pedestrian signal poles, signal poles, and other incidental construction work.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
City of Amsterdam: (D#264031) Route 30 over the Mohawk River. Motorists will encounter a southbound right lane closure due to sidewalk installation, a northbound right lane closure due to brush curb removal. A pedestrian detour is in place. Erie Street on-ramp to Route 30 northbound will be closed with a signed detour in place. Route 30 northbound exit ramp to Erie Street remains open. Route 5 eastbound ramp to Route 30 southbound closed. A downtown exit detour is in place.
