ONEIDA COUNTY
Town of New Hartford: (D#264929) Genesee Street between Richardson Ave and Wilbur Rd. Motorists will encounter lane closures/shifts in both directions with flaggers in place due to waterline and signal work.
Town of New Hartford, Town of Paris: (D#264869) Route 8 between Route 5/8/12 and Morgan Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations. On Saturday 9/23 motorists will encounter multiple ramp closures between Campion Road and Pinnacle Road for paving of the ramps. The ramps will not all be closed at the same time.
City of Utica: (D#264847) Route 5/8/12 between Lomond Place and Burrstone Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with a new Northbound traffic pattern in place. The Lomond Place to Route 5/8/12 northbound will be closed to traffic with a detour to Burrstone Road. The on ramps for Route 5/8/12 going Northbound and Southbound from French Road will be closed with a detour in place. The detour will be French Road to Burrstone Road to Route 5/8/12. This will be for repairs to the bridges over French Road. There is also a speed limit reduction of 45MPH through the work zone.
Village of Yorkville: (D#264958) Champlin Ave between Campbell Ave and Whitesboro Street. A full northbound lane closure with a signed detour in place due to construction activities. Traffic will be detoured to Burrstone Road east bound to Route 5/8/12 north to Oriskany Street westbound. All traffic Southbound on Champlin Ave will be maintained. Paving operations will begin Monday 9/18 with flaggers in place to temporarily stop traffic due to trucks in and out of the work zone.
Town of Verona, City of Rome: (D#264846) Route 46/49 between Siefert Road and Route 69. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to culvert replacement, ditching operations, milling, paving and shoulder repair.
Town of Kirkland: (D#264792) Route 12B between Beatty Ave and Stebbins Drive. Motorists will encounter intermittent flagging operations due to material and equipment delivery due to culvert repairs. Most work will be off the roadway with a pedestrian detour in place.
Town of Kirkland: (D#264792) Route 12B between Grant Road and Dwight Ave. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to culvert work.
Town of Kirkland, Town of Westmoreland: Route 233 between the bridge over NYS Thruway and Route 12B. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to crack sealing operations.
Town of Verona: (D#264453) Route 31 between Route 46 and Canal Street. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place. The detour will utilize Route 365A and Route 365. Occasional flagging operations will be on Canal Street for crane work.
Town of Vernon: Route 5 between Stuhlman Road and Skyline Drive. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to crack sealing operations.
Town of Vienna: (D#264910) Route 49 between Yager Road and Route 13. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to drainage improvements.
Town of Vienna: (D#264910) Route 49 between Hallenbeck Road and Widrig Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to drainage improvements.
Town of Vienna: Route 13 between Route 49 and McClanathan Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place on Thursday 9/21 due to water service work.
Town of Remsen: (D#264961) Route 12 at Steuben Street. Motorists will encounter lane and shoulder closures due to the installation of signal pole foundations.
Town of Ava: Route 26 between Tuffy Road and the Lewis County line. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to crack sealing operations.
Town of Trenton, Town of Western: Route 274 between Route 365 and Route 46. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to crack sealing operations.
MADISON COUNTY
Hamlet of Hubbardsville: (D#264753) Larkin Road between Route 12 and Poolville Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a detour in place due to culvert replacement. The detour for eastbound traffic will be Poolville Road to Cranston Road to Route 12. Westbound will be Route 12 to Cranston Road to Poolville Road.
Town of Hamilton: (D#264753) River Road between Randallsville Road and Nower Road/ Lebanon Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to culvert replacement over Kingsley Brook. The detour for northbound traffic will be Nower Road to Route 12B to Middleport Road to Randallsville Road to River Road. Southbound will be River Road to Randallsville Road to Middleport Road to Route 12B to Nower Road to River Road.
HERKIMER COUNTY
Town of Manheim/Town of St Johnsville: (D#264591) Route 5 between Snells Bush Road and Old State Road. Motorists will encounter long term shoulder closures in both directions on the bridge over the East Canada Creek.
Village of Herkimer: South Washington Street between Marginal Road and Route 5S. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place beginning Monday 9/18 due to bridge joint repairs. The closure is expected to last 4 days.
Town of Danube: (D#264888) Route 5S between Depot Road and Canal Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a detour in place due to bridge replacement. The detour will be Route 5S to Route 169 to Route 5 (Nelliston) to River Road to Route 5S.
Village of Ilion: (D#264961) Route 51 @ Clark Street. Motorists will encounter short duration flagging operations due to curb and sidewalk installation.
Town of Frankfort: (D#264978) Route 5S between Turner Street and the Village of Ilion. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to guiderail and sign work.
Town of Russia: (D#264956) Route 8 between Military Road and Hurricane Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to embankment stabilization at Cold Brook Creek immediately north of Dan Davis Road.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Town of Glen: Route 5S between Lashers Creek and the Village of Fultonville line. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.
Town of St. Johnsville: Route 67 between Route 10 and Burrell Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.
HAMILTON COUNTY
Town of Indian Lake: (D#264867) Route 28/30 between Durant Road and Old Route 28. Motorists will encounter lane and/or shoulder closures with flaggers in place due to wetland construction and the installation of turtle barrier in the area along Lake Durant.
Town of Arietta: (D#264867) Route 28 at the South Inlet of Raquette Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with the continuous use of temporary signals construction activities.
Town of Long Lake, Hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake: (D#264867) Route 30 between the Route 28-Route 30 Junction and the Village of Long Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers and temporary signals in place due to emergency road repairs.
Town of Long Lake: (D#264453) Route 28N over Fishing Brook. Motorists will encounter a new traffic pattern with a speed limit reduction to 45MPH with an advisory speed of 20MPH. All work will be off the roadway.
REGIONAL
Pavement marking operations will be occurring on various routes in Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Madison, Montgomery and Oneida Counties. Lane closures/shifts with flaggers in place will be expected. All work is weather dependent.
