The Rotary club of Little Falls gathered for their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 5. Mr. Dave Warner was our speaker and he spoke about the exciting plans for Little Falls’ newest Park. Butternut Falls Park.

The idea of making a park came from local citizen Craig Lockwood. If you see Craig, thank him for the great idea, but more importantly, If you would like to volunteer, email to be added to the volunteer notification list.

According to Dave Warner, trails will be cleared for the approximately 1/4-mile gentle hike to the falls. A bridge will be installed over the creek, and picnic tables and signage will be added. Main Street First has advanced $7,000 for the bridge; other donations would be appreciated. Use the link below to make your tax-deductible donation.

Construction is expected to take six to eight weeks.
