Mr. Scott E. Mosher, 65, of S. Main Street, Dolgeville, NY, passed away on November 1, 2022, at his home following a long illness. He was born on December 26, 1956, in Gloversville, NY, the son of Elmer Mosher and Adeleide Leneker Mosher, both who pre-deceased him.
Scott was a graduate of Oppenheim High School, class of 1974.
He was a lifelong area resident and had worked in the construction business his entire life.
Scott was a member of the Fort Plain Reformed Church, The Canajoharie Moose, # 853, Laborers Union #35, and loved deep sea fishing and camping with his family.
On September 1984, at the former St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Johnsville, NY, he married Deborah Shostek.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Mosher; Sons Chauncey Mosher and Nathan Mosher and his fiancé Nicole Bellinger; Sister Cheryl Deitch; Grandchildren Stella, Lucy, Soni, Ayla, Adelaide, and Zoe; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at the Fort Plain Reformed Church, Canal Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. The family invites friends and relatives to visitation on Friday, November 4th, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
