On Wednesday, the Little Falls High School Class of 2023 Seniors took their final walk as students through Benton Hall Academy.

Tracy Young stated, “Every year, we’ve had them come back down to Benton Hall Academy to walk the halls where they first started. We start in the auditorium with the kindergarten class.”

“This year, the kindergarten class is the class of 2035, and we take a picture with the outgoing kids and the younger kids that are incoming,” she stated.

The teachers make cards and balloons and bring up old pictures and work that they’ve kept over the years from the students.

“It’s one of our favorite things in the school year, and the kids really get into it. Especially the 5th graders. They really got into it up there today,” said Young.

Principal Joe Long said that he was filled with pride. “Pride and elation at how these kids have grown, and it’s also about how fast time has gone by. Seven years ago, most of them were here, and now they’re bigger than me and smarter than me.”

He praised the staff who put the event together and what the kids did in turn for them. “I enjoy it immensely.”
