Try listening to the story instead of reading it!

Every day for the next two weeks, the Little Falls Public Library will post an original short story on their Facebook page.

The stories were written by the members of the library’s Flash Fiction group, which recently celebrated its fourth anniversary. Every week, the writers are given a prompt. They write a story of five hundred words or less, inspired by the prompt. The following week, they share their story with the rest of the group.

The Flash Fiction group includes a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds. Their stories run the gamut from sci-fi to historical fiction, from speculative fiction to magical realism.

The goal is to provide Little Falls residents with something to read during the time when the library is closed.

You can access the stories at www.facebook.com/littlefallslibrary. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can send an email to anassar@midyour.org requesting the story of the day.
