Located at 528 East Main Street in Little Falls, with a second location at 164 Main Street in Richfield Springs, Skye Financial Services is a full-service financial office offering assistance with investments, life insurance, retirement planning, annuities, 401K rollovers, tax planning, income tax preparation, and more. If you are looking to start a new business, they can also guide you through the process. Owner and Financial Consultant, Cathy Cristman’s priority is to help you feel secure and empowered when it comes to your financial future.

A Little Falls graduate, Cathy continued her education first at Herkimer Community College and then at Western Governor’s University; earning an Associate’s in Business and a Bachelor’s in Accounting. Upon graduation from LFHS she went to work at Herkimer County Trust and over the next 11-12 years moved through various positions at the bank, culminating in her becoming the branch manager of M&T in Little Falls.

During this time, she acquired her licenses for insurances and investments. After leaving M&T, Cathy worked for several local investment firms and continued her financial education; obtaining her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation along with her Enrolled Agent certification through the Internal Revenue Service. As a Fiduciary, Cathy acts in her client’s best interest and exercises diligence when making recommendations.

Cathy looks to grow her business, while still maintaining that small hometown feel. As she says, “I want my clients to always feel that I have time for them and will give them the attention they deserve.” While many of us may think that we only need a financial advisor if we have a lot of money to invest, Cathy assures that, “This is totally not the case. Part of working with me is to help you get on a path to secure your financial future so that you are in a good place; so that you know where you will be in the next 10 to 15 to 20 years.”

Everyone has a financial picture and goals; some may be to pay off debt, while others are looking to save for a major purchase. She says that Skye Financial Services can help you with any aspect of your financial picture without any pressure to share more than you are comfortable sharing.

Income Tax season is fast approaching. Skye Financial Services can assist you in preparing your tax return as well. From individual returns to business returns, face-to-face appointments to drop-offs, they will make it easy for you and your schedule.

To see if Skye Financial Services is a good fit for you, Cathy invites you to feel free to walk into her office at 528 East Main Street or to call 315-508-5451 to make an appointment.
