Southsiders held their reunion on Saturday at Rotary Park. According to Dave Talaba, this was the fourth or fifth one that has been done. “It started about 10-12 years ago,” he said, and they had to skip a year because of Covid.

Gary Staffo came in for the event and stated, “Growing up on the Southside was a unique experience with timeless friendships. There’s no better place to observe this than attending a Southside Reunion. My sincere “thank you” to the volunteers. Every few years, they have worked together to hold the Reunion in September and allow us to share and recall priceless memories.”

It was a great day to tell stories, eat some food, and make a toast to days gone by.
