Youth Art Month encourages support for quality school art programs and promotes art material safety, and the Council for Art Education administers the program at the national level.  The program provides a medium for recognizing the “A” in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS, and Mathematics).

The Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts (MVCA) will celebrate Youth Art Month by hosting the artwork of Herkimer County art students and their art teachers in the 2021 Reflections Exhibition.  This annual exhibition will be on display on the new Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts website, and at the 401 Gallery, Canal Place, Little Falls, NY 13365.

The 2021 Reflections Exhibition celebrates the co-creativity inspired and generated by student/teacher collaboration.

Tentatively, the Exhibition will run from Saturday, January 30th through Saturday, March 6th. The Virtual Tour will be Thursday, March 4, 2021, with more details forthcoming.
