Violet M. Bulluck, 96, of Stratford, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2020, at Little Falls Hospital in Little Falls, New York.
She was born on May 4, 1926, in Stratford, New York, and was the daughter of the late, Edward and Hazel (Crossman) Jeffers. Violet attended Stratford Central School.
On August 9, 1942, Violet was united in marriage to Lloyd Bulluck in West Winfield, New York. They shared a loving and devoted marriage of 55 years when Mr. Bulluck passed away on October 31, 1997.
Violet was a long-time employee of Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville, New York. She retired after 57 faithful years of service to the company.
Violet was of the Methodist faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going to the casino. Her most precious time was spent in the company of her loving family and she will be dearly missed by them.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Brys and her husband, Edward of Oppenheim, NY, Stacy Bulluck of Ilion, NY, and Lawrence Bulluck and his wife, Rosemary Bulluck of Salisbury, NY; a step-daughter, Joan Knapp of St. Johnsville, NY; grandchildren, Violet (Benny) Bienkowski, Grant (Paul) Nottingham, Tammy Tennant, Edward (Tammy) Brys, Amy Goodman, Edward (Tina) Bulluck, Roxanne Bulluck (Charles), Cory (Sherrie) Bulluck, April (Dan) Rickard, and Veronica Howard (Andy); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several cousins and extended family members.
Violet was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Bulluck, daughter, Elaine Lamphere, son, Raymond Bulluck, step-daughter, Florence McCaw and grandson, Douglas Bulluck, grandsons-in-law, Ryan Tennant and Brian Howard; and several extended family members.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Stratford Cemetery in Stratford, New York with Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams, pastor officiating, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Lloyd. The family will hold a reception after the burial which will be announced at the cemetery.
