If you’re having trouble sticking to your New Year’s resolution, join us at the Little Falls Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 17th, when we’ll will host a Vision Board workshop. The instructor is Lisa Monohan of Rose Star Connection. We spoke with her about vision boards and how they work.

What is a vision board?
A vision board is a collage of pictures and words displayed on poster board to help bring results to your desired goals, inspirations and dreams.
Anyone can create a vision board. If there is something you would like to have, do or be, you can create it using words and images to remind yourself of the goals to manifest.
Get clear about what you want to achieve. Be realistic. Are there certain steps you need to take, things that have to be done, to reach that goal? Clarity and focus are necessary to manifest exactly what you want.
When creating a vision board for your goals, only use positive words or phrases. You are affirming that you can create and achieve what you want or need.

Why does it work?
When you give your attention to the things you want, you attract those things into your life. A vision board is a fun, visualization tool to help focus on your goals.

How do you make a vision board?
We will be cutting pictures, letters and words from a large assortment of magazines and gluing them to poster board. Each board is individual and can be created for one or many goals.

This event is free. For more information, please call (315) 823-1542.
