The Little Falls girls basketball team put in yet another stellar performance on Saturday night in Syracuse beating Pulaski 56-19 in the Class C semifinal game. The outcome of the game never seemed to be in question from the first basket to the last, as the Mounties dominated play and led 12-0 at the end of the first quarter.

According to Coach Pam Munger “We’re goin’ to the Dome….we’re goin’ to the Dome! I’m glad these four seniors made it back there because that’s what they really wanted to do, so mission accomplished as far as that goes.”

“They want more, they’re hungry and that’s a good thing,” said the Coach.

Nicole Failing did not play most of the game as she was not feeling well. Munger said “This is a kid that won’t tell me that she doesn’t feel well. I love her to death. She wants to play and she’s like I’ll do what I can, but it really wasn’t one of those games were I’d have to keep her in and I didn’t want to wear her down even more because I really need her at the Dome.”

The Mounties (20-2) got 18 points from both Olivia Langdon and Olivia Lindsay, while Alexis Perrone had 7 and Gabby Sylstra had 5. The girls will play Cooperstown, Thursday, Feb 28, 2019 at 7 pm in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse in the championship game.
